tomorrow’s snow

Taking place at 9:30 pm each night on the gallery grounds, tomorrow’s snow is a beautiful performative piece by renowned contemporary artist Terence Koh. Inspired by a passage from Margaret Atwood’s novel Cat’s Eye, Koh recreates the look of freshly fallen snow, with an 8-year-old boy and girl, dressed in white, making snow angels.

tomorrow’s talks

At 8:15 pm, enjoy a FREE presentation prior to each performance by a variety of artists covering aspects of snow, the Arctic, the environment, storytelling, Inuit culture, music, and more.  See a full list of talks at mcmichael.com

The galleries are open until 9 pm at a reduced fee. A picnic basket curated by Koh is available for purchase, as well as full restaurant and bar facilities.

York Region Transit has extended their bus schedule along Route 13 from Steeles Ave. and Islington Ave. Download Schedule: http://www.mcmichael.com/terencekoh/13-LuminatoFestival.pdf
